“My thought escapes among the waves of the sea; wandering far away, beyond the country of the whale...

Avid and hungry, my spirit cries, lonely bird...

It encourages me to follow the path of the whale, irresistible, above the expanse of the waters.”

Francisco Coloane

About this art piece.

A note from the artist.

Hello and thank you for considering bringing "The Whale's Path" artwork into your home.

I was deeply inspired by one of my favorite books, The Whale's Path by Francisco Coloane. This book has always held a special place in my heart, and it was the true inspiration behind my decision to embark on an adventure to the Magallanes Strait to witness the majestic whales in their natural habitat. The experience was transformative, and I sought to capture that same sense of awe and reverence in this artwork. I hope this piece brings beauty into your space and evokes the spirit of exploration and the profound connection to nature that Coloane so vividly describes.
